Who should take this course?

The Nitrox course is open to any diver over the age of 12, and it can be combined with all courses including the Open Water Course.

 

The Nitrox Course is one of our most popular courses we offer. Due to the structure of our reefs - no walls, blue water until the reef. 

 

By diving on Nitrox you can increase your bottom time on some sites by upto 20 minutes, giving you more time to search for the amazing marine life Tofo is so famous for. 
 
What will you learn?

In this course, you'll learn the benefits of diving Nitrox, how it changes your dive profile, how nitrox is pumped and the effects it has on you. You will also learn how to analyse the oxygen in your tank and how to correctly set up your dive computer.

The course itself is a "dry course" but you will dive on Nitrox on all your dives with us if you do the course. The course only takes approx one and half hours to complete.

What does the course involve?

There is a 45 minute video to watch, while doing so you answer 25 questions. Once you have compeleted them your instructor will go through them with you and answer any questions you may have. Then follows a short exam. Upon completion you will be able to dive on nitrox!
